Point Shooting / CQB - $ 175
1 Day Class
Most lethal encounters that involve the use of handguns occur within 21 feet. The most common occurrence within that twenty one feet is at nine feet.
Things happen extremely fast at this distance, you must make split second decisions in order to save your life or the life of a loved one. Your focus is on the perpetrator, not on your firearm sites. There is no time to acquire a site picture. You must use your handgun to stop the attack immediately and divisively.
Knowing the right technique and having the right ammunition is vital. Preventing the perpetrator from taking your firearms is extremely important. In this course we will cover a few easy to remember handgun retention exercises.
We will work with our handguns at extreme close quarters {contact distance} out to 21 feet. Making effective hits on target, at real world speed without the use of sites.
We will work on the use of cover for self protection in the home and on the street. Use of cover will be stressed during movement exercises.
When faced with a perpetrator in a building the fight will most commonly be encountered within 20 feet or less. You will learn tactics for close proximity techniques for the violent encounter. There is always a possibility that you would end up fighting from a supine position or a prone position, ground fighting skills may be required.
