This course is for the more advanced shooter. Shooters must have all basic handgun handling skills. Safety, attitude and knowledge. Shooter should have successfully completed DH1, or PI/SS1 or equivalent (can be waived based on experience). Be familiar with the legal aspects of the use of lethal force, in a defensive encounter.

DH2 is all about hammer time, and quality learning. You will spend two days on the range working through scenarios, and drills involving use of cover, movement, unusual firing positions and much more.

You will work on ground fighting skills, supine, prone, urban prone and a few more. We will conduct many one hand drills, both dominant and non dominant. Non dominant draw and reloads will be conducted hot.

You will develop skills that will allow you to draw and effectively engage a perpetrator in less than 2 seconds.

The focus will be on perfection, having the ability to work through stress induced drills, and manage the stress while remaining calm, focused and effective.

You will manage malfunctions, and reloads while remaining in the fight, focusing on survival and use of cover, or movement to cover.
